- Every service — cleaning, repair, guards, downspouts, installation.
What happens after you call
The process is the same for every estimate, whether it is a single sagging run or a full tear-off and replacement.
First, we confirm the address, the number of stories, and what the gutters are doing, so the visit is scheduled with the right equipment. Second, we measure — eave lengths run by run, inside and outside corners, roof area feeding each section, and the condition of the fascia the gutters hang on. Third, you get a written estimate that lists material, gauge, gutter size and profile, downspout count and where each one discharges, hanger type and spacing, and the total. Finally, nothing is ordered or scheduled until you approve it.
What a written estimate should tell you
A written estimate exists so you can compare two bids that differ by a thousand dollars and understand why. Ours lists every line below, and any contractor's should.
- Total linear feet of gutter and of downspout, listed separately.
- Material and gauge — .027 or .032 aluminum, steel, or copper.
- Gutter size and profile — 5-inch or 6-inch, K-style or half-round.
- Downspout count, size, and discharge point for each one.
- Hanger type and spacing in inches.
- Whether tear-off and disposal are included.
- The per-foot rate for fascia repair, in case it is needed.
If you want to sanity-check a number before we get there, the gutter cost overview has current Treasure Valley ranges for every service, and the installation cost guide breaks down per-foot pricing by material.

Questions about getting an estimate
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. There is no charge to measure your roofline and no deposit required to receive a written quote. You get linear footage, material, gutter size and profile, downspout count and placement, and a total — and nothing is scheduled until you say so.
How fast will I hear back?
Calls during business hours — Monday through Saturday, 7:00am to 6:00pm — get answered or returned the same day. Calls that come in after hours are returned the next morning. If the problem is active, like water coming in over a doorway, say so when you call and it gets moved up the schedule.
Do you need to visit, or can you quote over the phone?
Straightforward cleaning and small repairs can often be quoted from an address, a rough footage figure, and a description of the roofline. Installations and replacements need a visit, because eave lengths, corner counts, fascia condition, and downspout placement all have to be measured rather than estimated.
What should I have ready when I call?
Three things help. The property address, so we know which part of the valley and what the access looks like. The number of stories. And a plain description of what the gutters are doing — overflowing, sagging, dripping at a corner, or missing entirely. Photos from the ground are useful but never required.
Do I have to be home for the estimate?
Not necessarily. Measuring is all exterior work, so we can quote most homes without anyone present as long as gates are unlocked and dogs are inside. It does help to be reachable by phone during the visit for questions about downspout placement, which is the one decision that benefits from your input.
